You're thinking about changing one of the largest assets you own. You're bound to have some questions. Here are several we often hear. If yours isn't in this list, Contact Us and tell us what you'd like to know.

What kind of landscape services or products do you offer?

The Landscape Company offers a full range of products and services. Our installers are experts in pavers, decorative concrete, LED landscape lighting, drip irrigation systems, drought-tolerant plantings, synthetic turf, patio covers, wood and vinyl fencing, barbecues, fire features and outdoor living options.

Do you offer landscape design services?

Yes. We use the latest in 3D AutoCAD technology to help produce realistic landscape designs that help our clients visualize their project before a single shovel breaks the ground. We take the time to listen and explore the different options available and focus on a design the meets your budget, not our profit.

What kind of license is required to install landscaping?

The C27 license is the landscape contractor category and the only classification that allows the different products and services to be offered. Many contractors are under the belief that a B class license can perform landscape services. This is not so. A B-class-licensed contractor can only be hired if your project consists of grading a blank lot to the completion of the landscape project (minimum of three trades).

Please check out more information at the California License Bureau

Do I need a permit to landscape my yard?

It depends on what kind of work you need to have done and on the area.

Most landscape projects do not need a permit. However, if you are building a wall over 3’ high above grade or a patio cover that is more than 300 SF, or your project involves any electrical or gas line installation, then you will need to apply for a permit.

We are experts in the local building codes and well versed in the permit process at the city or county level. Every project is different, so please give us a call and we can give you the right advice.
